Welcome January! I'm a little late, 14 days to be exact but I was pretty unplugged for a couple of weeks while at home for the holidays. It was wonderful to spend that much time with my children. Then the time to go back to work came and so did a polar vortex that kept us in the house for two more days except to check the mail and give the chickens water. January is my least favorite month of the year for obvious reasons. The fun of the holidays is over, its cold and their are at least 3 more months of winter, blahhh. But this year I decided it was going to be a good month. There are a ton of things to be excited about this year and I am going to focus on those things, rather than how crappy this month is. Grace is on the homecoming court on Friday, Noel is learning to crawl and has 2 teeth, Andrew is starting to talk in full conversation and Addi is able to change her new earrings next week! Tomorrow I will discuss my goals that I inevitably fail at, but hey, maybe this year will be different.
