I have a 2 year old. Again.

Andrew turned 2 years old last Thursday. I remember the moment he was born and being completely shocked that I could make a boy, you know, after having 2 girls it just didn't seem possible. It literally took me over a month to get over it. When you marry a farmer and they expect to have a litter of boys to take over the farm one day, it puts a little (unneeded) pressure on somebody.  Anyway, we had our boy. And he was adorable. Well, now he's 2... and that age, is well, not so adorable. Don't get me wrong, I love Andrew to pieces but the meltdowns and the 'throw yourself on the floor' tantrums are in full force.  But lets think of the good stuff, he is talking more and more everyday and recently has been included in our nightly book reading.  He loves reading books so much that putting him to bed is easy as pie. The girls aren't so wild about it because he likes to yell in excitement about everything on the pages. I find it adorable. He loves to go farming (so much that he stands by the truck to make sure dad doesn't leave him), loves his trucks, tractors, books, sticks, and making mama nervous. So happy birthday to my sweet/sassy/wild little boy!
